Leave policy
At Pixel Empyrean, we are committed to providing our employees with the support and resources they need to maintain a healthy work-life balance. This leave policy outlines the types of leave that are available to our employees and the terms and conditions under which they may be taken.
Vacation leave: Full-time employees are entitled to a certain number of paid vacation days per year, based on their length of service with the company. Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rated amount of vacation leave based on their hours worked. Vacation leave may be taken in full or half-day increments and must be approved in advance by the employee's supervisor.
Sick leave: Full-time and part-time employees are entitled to a certain number of paid sick days per year, which may be taken in full or half-day increments. Sick leave may be taken for the employee's own illness or for the illness of a family member.
Family and medical leave: Full-time and part-time employees may be eligible for unpaid family and medical leave in accordance with federal and state laws. This leave may be taken for the employee's own serious health condition, the birth or adoption of a child, or to care for a family member with a serious health condition.
Military leave: Full-time and part-time employees are entitled to military leave in accordance with federal and state laws. This leave may be taken for military training or deployment.
