Employee attendance and punctuality policy

At Pixel Empyrean, we rely on our employees to be present and punctual in order to meet the needs of our clients and achieve our business objectives. This policy outlines our expectations for employee attendance and punctuality, as well as the consequences for excessive absences or tardiness.

  1. Attendance expectations: Employees are expected to be present and punctual for all scheduled work hours. If an employee is unable to attend work, they are required to notify their supervisor as soon as possible.

  2. Tardiness: Tardiness is defined as arriving to work after the scheduled start time or returning from breaks or lunch after the scheduled end time. Employees who are consistently tardy may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

  3. Absences: If an employee is unable to attend work due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, they must notify their supervisor as soon as possible. Employees are expected to use their paid time off (PTO) for extended absences. If an employee does not have sufficient PTO available, they may request unpaid time off, which will be granted at the discretion of the supervisor.

  4. Excessive absences: Employees who have excessive absences may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Excessive absences are defined as more than three (3) unplanned absences in a rolling three (3) month period, or more than two (2) consecutive days of unplanned absences.

We understand that unexpected events may occur that may impact an employee's attendance. However, we expect employees to make every effort to be present and punctual for all scheduled work hours. If you have any questions or need further clarification on any of the terms of this policy, please don't hesitate to ask.
