Employee conflict of interest policy
Policy statement:
At Pixel Empyrean, we strive to maintain the highest level of integrity in all our business dealings. We expect all employees to act in the best interests of the company and to disclose any conflicts of interest that may arise. A conflict of interest occurs when an employee's personal interests or relationships interfere, or appear to interfere, with the interests of the company.
Scope:
This policy applies to all employees of Pixel Empyrean, including part-time and temporary employees, as well as contractors and consultants.
Procedures:
Employees must disclose any potential conflicts of interest to their manager or the HR department as soon as they become aware of them.
If a conflict of interest arises, the employee must immediately remove themselves from any decision-making or other role that could potentially benefit from the conflict.
If a conflict of interest cannot be avoided, the employee must disclose the conflict to their manager or HR and seek guidance on how to proceed.
Employees are strictly prohibited from using their position at Pixel Empyrean for personal gain, or for the benefit of a family member or friend.
Employees must not accept gifts or favors from any person or entity that does business with Pixel Empyrean, or that may have an interest in any business decision made by the company.
Penalties:
Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
This policy is not exhaustive and Pixel Empyrean reserves the right to modify it at any time. It is the responsibility of all employees to familiarize themselves with and abide by this policy. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact the HR department.
