Anti-discrimination and harassment policy
At Pixel Empyrean, we are committed to creating and maintaining a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and other individuals who interact with the company, and prohibits discrimination and harassment on the basis of any protected characteristic, including race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
Definition of discrimination and harassment: Discrimination is any action or decision that treats someone unfairly because of a protected characteristic. Harassment is any unwelcome conduct that is based on a protected characteristic and that is severe or pervasive enough to create a hostile or offensive work environment or to interfere with an individual's work performance.
Reporting: Employees who believe that they have been the victim of discrimination or harassment should report the matter to their supervisor or the HR department. Reports can be made anonymously, if desired.
Investigation: All reports of discrimination or harassment will be promptly and thoroughly investigated by appropriate personnel. The company will take all necessary steps to protect the confidentiality of the employee making the report and any individuals involved in the investigation.
Discipline: The company will take disciplinary action, up to and including termination, against any employee who engages in discrimination or harassment.
We believe that every employee has the right to work in an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment. If you have any questions or need further clarification on any of the terms of this policy, please don't hesitate to ask.
