# Employee discipline and termination policy

At Pixel Empyrean, we value the contributions of our employees and strive to create a positive and respectful work environment for all. However, we also recognize that there may be times when an employee's behavior or performance falls short of our expectations. This policy outlines the steps we will take in addressing these issues and the consequences for violation of company policies or rules.

1. Discipline process: If an employee's behavior or performance is not meeting the company's expectations, the employee's supervisor will work with the employee to identify the issue and develop a plan for improvement. This may include setting specific performance goals, providing additional training or support, or implementing a probationary period.
2. Termination process: In cases where an employee's behavior or performance cannot be corrected through the discipline process, the company reserves the right to terminate the employee's employment. The decision to terminate an employee's employment will be made by the employee's supervisor and the human resources department, and will be based on a review of the employee's performance and the company's business needs.
3. Cause for termination: An employee may be terminated for cause, which includes but is not limited to: violation of company policies or rules, gross misconduct, theft or fraud, insubordination, or inability to perform the essential functions of the job.
4. Notice of termination: In most cases, an employee will be given notice of termination and an opportunity to correct the issue prior to their employment being terminated. However, in cases of gross misconduct or other serious violations, the employee may be terminated immediately.

We believe that our discipline and termination process is fair and reasonable, and is designed to support the development and success of our employees. If you have any questions or need further clarification on any of the terms of this policy, please don't hesitate to ask.
