Employee work schedule policy
At Pixel Empyrean, we understand that flexibility in scheduling is important to our employees and strive to provide a work environment that allows for a healthy work-life balance. This policy outlines our expectations for employee work schedules, including guidelines for requesting and approving time off, as well as policies for overtime and scheduling changes.
Regular work hours: Full-time employees are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with shifts typically scheduled between Monday and Friday, 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Part-time employees are expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with shifts typically scheduled between Monday and Friday, 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Employees may be required to work additional hours or different shifts as needed to meet business needs.
Overtime: Employees may be required to work overtime in order to meet business needs. Overtime hours are defined as any hours worked over 40 hours per week for full-time employees or over 20 hours per week for part-time employees. Employees who are required to work overtime will be compensated at a rate of 1.5 times their regular hourly rate.
Time off: Employees are encouraged to request time off in advance through the company's time off request system. All requests for time off must be approved by the employee's supervisor. Employees may request time off for vacation, personal days, sick days, or any other reason as needed.
Scheduling changes: Employees may request a change to their regular work schedule through the company's scheduling request system. All requests for scheduling changes must be approved by the employee's supervisor. The company reserves the right to make changes to employee schedules as needed to meet business needs.
